What is Twipsy?
Do you wonder what Twipsy is? Twipsy is mostly a plugin for jQuery having to do with creating tool tips, it is based on “Tipsy”, but the important thing about the Twipsy jQuery plugin for creating tooltips is that it is part of the Twitter Bootstrap kit – that is Twipsy is a plugin that works with the Boostrap framework. The tooltips can be custom styled via CSS and their behavior can be controlled via JS parameters. This includes position, animation type, offset, title, trigger, content templates, etc.. It was “ported” from tipsy. A demo is included with the download package, which can be found at http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/javascript.html#tooltips To quote them Twipsy is A new take on the jQuery Tipsy plugin, Tooltips don’t rely on images—they use CSS3 for animations and data-attributes for local title storage.

How to Reset WP to Twitter
The WordPress plugin WP to Twitter “posts a Twitter status update when you update your WordPress blog or post to your blogroll, using your chosen URL shortening service. Rich in features for customizing and promoting your Tweets.” You can activate the plugin and then set all the options, but if you are having trouble the plugin offers no way to unset all of the options associated with it. You can use the following sql / mySQL command to remove all of the options generated by this plugin. Use this at your own risk, and of course create a backup of your database before attempting this. delete from wp_options where option_name in (‘app_consumer_key’, ‘app_consumer_secret’, ‘bitlyapi’, ‘bitlylogin’, ‘comment-published-text’, ‘comment-published-update’, ‘disable_oauth_notice’, ‘disable_twitter_failure’, ‘disable_url_failure’, ‘jd_date_format’, ‘jd_donations’, ‘jd_dynamic_analytics’, ‘jd_individual_twitter_users’, ‘jd_keyword_format’, ‘jd_last_tweet’, ‘jd_max_characters’, ‘jd_max_tags’, ‘jd_post_excerpt’, ‘jd_replace_character’, ‘jd_shortener’, ‘jd_status_message’, ‘jd_strip_nonan’, ‘jd_tweet_default’, ‘jd_twit_append’, ‘jd_twit_blogroll’, ‘jd_twit_custom_url’, ‘jd_twit_prepend’, ‘jd_twit_remote’, ‘limit_categories’, ‘newlink-published-text’, ‘oauth_token’, ‘oauth_token_secret’, ‘suprapi’, ‘suprlogin’, ‘tweet_categories’, ‘twitter-analytics-campaign’, ‘twitterInitialised’, ‘use-twitter-analytics’, ‘use_dynamic_analytics’, ‘use_tags_as_hashtags’, ‘wp_bitly_error’, ‘wp_debug_oauth’, ‘wp_supr_error’, ‘wp_to_twitter_version’, ‘wp_twitter_failure’, ‘wp_url_failure’, ‘wpt_inline_edits’, ‘wpt_post_types’, ‘wtt_oauth_hash’, ‘wtt_twitter_username’, ‘wtt_user_permissions’, ‘yourlsapi’, ‘yourlslogin’, ‘yourlspath’, ‘yourlsurl’)

twttrHubFrame: solved
If you’re seeing a hidden iframe with an ID twttrHubFrame that probably means you’re using a socialize widget such as the twitter platform’s widget. Here is an example as used by the post-types-order plugin for WordPress. <a href=”https://twitter.com/share” class=”twitter-share-button” data-url=”http://www.nsp-code.com” data-text=”Define custom order for your taxonomies terms through an easy to use javascript AJAX drag and drop interface. No theme code updates are necessarily, this plugin will take care of query update.” data-count=”none”>Tweet</a> <script type=”text/javascript” src=”//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js”></script>

Twitterbot
Twitter has a bot to crawl webpages: Twitterbot. I noticed it in the server logs. The user agent is Twitterbot/1.0. The IP address is 199.59.149.166. Why is twitter crawling web pages? Google’s spiders regularly crawl the web to rebuild our index. Crawls are based on many factors such as PageRank, links to a page, and crawling constraints such as the number of parameters in a URL. Any number of factors can affect the crawl frequency of individual sites.
Twitter Support: Something is technically wrong.
I was just trying to submit a support request but I keep getting an error 500 with the message – Twitter Support: Something is technically wrong.
Twitter on Facebook Pages
Thought I’d post this here, too: I wanted to share a facebook application I just learned about. It adds a tab to a facebook “page” that shows twitter updates: http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=53267368995#/apps/application.php?v=wall&id=53267368995 It was difficult to find, I didn’t realize it was possible. For a long time I thought facebook only allowed you to push your FB updates to twitter, and not vice versa. Hope you find it useful. They have a free and pro version. I’m using free.

What does it mean? Google’s code. This is a reference to the all your base are belong to us. However, on google’s homepage in the animation of the alien spaceship, the aliens are stealing the google “o” thus we have “all your O are belong to us” Just convert the numbers to the alphabetical counterparts (a=1, b=2) This is using something similar to the caesar cipher What does “All your base are belong to us” mean? Wikipedia says: “All your base are belong to us” (often shortened to “All Your Base“, “AYBABTU“, or simply “AYB“) is a broken English phrase that was central to an Internet phenomenon, or meme, in 2000-2002, with the spread of a Flash animation that depicted the slogan. The text is taken from the opening cut scene of the 1991 European Sega Mega Drive version of the Japanese video game Zero Wing,[1] by Toaplan which was poorly translated by Sega of Europe. It was popularized by the Something Awful message forums.[2] The lines For great justice and Somebody set up us the bomb are often replicated as a secondary memes, with the phrase for great justice applied to an ordinary or inappropriate action.
